J.D. Anderson 1960 Journal Feb. 3 Valencia Sagon, Ellicott + Trinity Santa Cruz Co., Calif. Been very murky with n/t. Hyla chorus debaring. Pana aurora in full chorus. Picked up 2 J R. aurora . D. McDinni got 1 gravid & croceum under log in willow thicket . No other activity so we left here at 10:35 pm. Heard 8 Horned Owl talking 100+ yard from pond. Went back to Tigrinum pond, checked thoroughly but no avail. Driving back towards Valencia Sagon to San Andreas Rd. We picked up 1 Ensatina, 1 young Thomson's Lotta + 1 opossum. Back at Valencia Sagon - 11:00pm. Worked entire length of Bonita Road once and then departed. Stopped in Santa Cruz for coffee, then home. Arrive MVZ 1:55 am.
