J.D. Anderson 1958 Journal Jan. 23 Valencia Lagoon Rio del Mar Santa Cruz Ca. Cal. taken. Tigrinum stand out strikingly in water. 10:30 pm made a good check along San Andreas Rd. Picked up 3 tigrinum in 25 min. Returned to Valencia lagoon & began a Bonita Rd. check at 11:15. Got 3 A.m. crocum between 11:45 & 1:15 am. Want to sleep at 2 am. After Jan 24. Breakfast next morning I checked the pit at Valencia, found 3 od 8/8 + 1 od & all in prime breeding condition. Those, like last mita crocum were marked & released. Checked a little in oak woods but found nothing else. Worked about pond area for a while. It is filling rapidly. Water is flowing in a wide, shallow but slow moving stream from the SE. wilow ↓ stream flow extent of pond
