March 10. MV2.
Eggs of A.m. croceum collected on March 9 all in blastula at 7 pm. Kept in 2 large (4") finger bowls at room temp.
March 12 (3pm) neurula 19.5°C
March 13 (4pm) late neurula - body, tail bud 19.0°C.
March 15 (5pm) - late tail bud 19.4°C
March 17 (4pm) - gills, tail dendrod 19.5°C
March 19 (8 pm) - 1st circulation in gills, balancer well dendrod, gills unbranched, melanophores scattered, fore limb swelling.
March 21, hatching's. 10 am. 19.2°C
at hatching's. 7 mm total length, eyes & mouth closed. No ventral melanophores, few or gills.
yolk present. melanophores concentrated on tail (especially tip), posterior part of neck (dorsal), scattered on lateral surfaces.
fin bud a two rounded protuberance

Balancer long, no melanophores. Gills simple with only 1 or two buds to indicate future branches.
