Oct. 20 Valencia Lagoon, Rio del Mar, Santa Cruz Co., Calif.
Lagoon and probed in the oak woods for a
little over an hour. Turned all likely looking
logs & stones. Still not very moist under them.
Also checked oak leaf litter in several places.
All negative. No salamanders of any
kind. Returned home at 7:30 pm after an
unsuccessful but pleasant day.
