C.C. Aldrich 1937 at the bases of cliffs as found elsewhere yesterday. Both yesterday and today I noted the reaction of healthy gulls to a captured and silly one. When we would chase down a maimed gull others would fly round low over head giving raucous calls. Frequently another bird (gull) was seen following along with an silly gull.
