Black-chinned Sparrows (coll), 2 Desert Sparrows seen. 2 Rock Wrens on rocks in foreground as well as on cliff's. Lead-colored Bush-Tits (coll) in brush & Pinyon & Junipers of Cliffs and on slope. One Rock Squirrel seen on cliffs. Scott orioles (pr.) seen atop small Juniper on slope. Hard Winter Snail catcher + later saw him atop small Junipers on slope. Turkey Vultures overhead. Isopan; f16-50. Also one Spotted Towhee seen. Cedar Canyon, 5000 ft., Providence Mts., San Bernardino Co., Calif. 38-247 Sylvilagus auduboni: the plucked hair to show new pelage coming in; contains 2 embryos.
