NNW Eastgate, SE base Clan Alpine Mts., Churchill Co., Nevada Feb. 26, 1942. stomach only 9:00 A.M Pacific War Time. 3599 ♂ Sage Grouse. wt. 5 lbs. 6 ½ ozs. Much excessive fat. Bird in Breeding Plumage. Total length, 29 inches; Tail, 13 inches; Wing Spread, 38 inches; Crop empty. Testes were large, L. 12 mm long, R. 16 mm long. stomach only 3600 ♂ Sage Grouse wt. 4 lbs. 11/oz. Total length, 26 ½ inches; Tail, 10 inches; Wing Spread, 37 ½ inches. Crop empty. Testes about ½ size of no 3599. Testes L. 10 mm long; R. 11 mm long. Bird not in breeding plumage. stomach only 3601 ♀ Sage Grouse. wt. 2 lbs. 13 ½ ozs. Total length 21 inches, Tail 7¼ inches, Wing Spread 32 ½ inches. Ova 20 mm long. Largest ovum 3.5 m m diameter. All above three birds from flock of 16
