This evening I set about 25 additional mouse traps and put out 6 sets of no. 2 Victor steel traps along a small stream. Friday March 19, 1943. Looked at the traps this morning and caught one Marmosa, 2 Reithrodontomys, 3 Orozomya, 3 Peromyscus; 5 Baiomys. This afternoon I did not feel well so the others went into the field and left me at the hotel. The party now consists of the entire E. Raymond Hall family, Roberto Alcantar B (a Mexican youth) and myself. We have all gotten along nicely and are located in the heart of the town of Tacámbaro. We have 4 rooms in the Europa hotel rented and prepare specimens in the patio.
