1943
Itinerary
Tuesday March 16, 1943.
This morning I picked up the traps
and caught 4 Reithrodonomys and
3 Microtus. We all assisted in
gathering our equipment together
and loaded it into the truck.
We drove southward to
Tacámbaro where we made
headquarters in the Europa Hotel
in Tacámbaro. Late this afternoon
I set 40 mouse traps 1 3/4 miles
south of here near the edge of
a small lake.
Wednesday March 17, 1943.
Looked at the mouse traps
and caught one Sigmodon one
Baio mys and one Reithrodonomys.
After preparing these I accompanied
C.R. Hall and H.H. Hall southward and
set about 50 mouse traps 1 mi. E and
6 mi. S of Tacámbaro. These traps were
set in a heavy growth of vegetation.
