Itinerary
Sunday March 14, 1943.
Looked at the traps and caught
one skunk, five Microtus, 6
Reithrodonomys, 1 Peromyscus,
5 Pocket Gophers, and in addition
one skunk was purchased from
an Indian for $1.50 (pesos). One
no. 0 steel trap was stolen.
This evening I reset traps and
now have 75 mouse and six
skunk traps set. These traps are
along near the highway 4 miles
S of Pátzcuaro.
Monday March 15, 1943.
Looked at the traps and caught one
skunks, 16 Reithrodonomys, 11 Microtus,
one Peromyscus and a shrew.
Took up some of the skunk traps.
After preparing specimens I did not reset traps
and now have only 25 mouse
and 4 steel traps out for skunks.
