This morning I helped arrange the equipment and then went up the hill to set traps. W[m] Hall accompanied me and he set 50 mouse traps and I set 100. After returning to camp we ate dinner and went over to the edge of the lake. There we saw many bats flying. I shot two (Mexican Free Tail?) bats and set 10 traps in a marshy area.
