Itinerary
Monday, February 22, 1943.
We prepared breakfast and
continued on eastward to Tucson.
We visited with Voorhis for a
few minutes then continued on
eastward. We traveled through
Benson, Tombstone, Douglas and
Apache, Arizona and entered
New Mexico and traveled through
Rodeo, Road Forbs, Lordsburg,
Wilma and Deming. We stopped
for the night a few miles
least of Deming, New Mexico.
Tuesday, February 23, 1943
Today we traveled through
Cambay, Crater, Las Cruces, Mesquite,
Vado and Anthony, New Mexico.
We entered Texas and passed
through Vinton, El Paso, Fabens,
Van Horn, Wendell, Marfa,
Alpine, Marathon and Sanderson.
We camped for the night
about 10 miles easterly from
Sanderson, Texas.
