1943.
Itinerary
Friday, February 19, 1943.
This morning we continued our trip southward in California. We passed through the towns of Burbank and Glendale then to Pasadena. At Pasadena I left the party and traveled to La Habra where I spent the night with my sister.
Saturday, February 20, 1943.
I drove to Pasadena, contacted Dr. Hall and we then traveled through San Bernardino, Redlands and Indio, California. We camped for the night near the Salton Sea. There are seven of us in the party and to date all persons have been well and in good humor. A coyote was heard “yapping” this evening as we prepared the camp.
