I forgot to mention that
Sunday we found the
old nest of a Sooty
Grouse that Bowles had
first found. The egg
shells were present. Nest
was situated under
a mass of brush and
chicken wire in the
woods. The nest proper
only a shallow hollow
in the roots of the ground.
