Kernit Warbler, Audubon
Warbler, Kinglets, and
Calvaras Warbler were all
singing. The warblers were
probably all there but
the kinglets might have
been [illegible]. The
Western Flycatchers
are as thick thick
as flies about the
woods but we could
locate no nests. I
guess have seen the
bird, more common.
Heard, Cayuki Breeding for
the first time. We passed
three winter Wren County
but saw no birds;
few several Creeper
nests partly built; however
they probably will never
be completed.
At two o'clock we
went into town & look
over Bowls' Collection. Seems
to me his collection is
about ideal. One of the great
representation of species --
well displayed -- photographs
or nests proper with
75 of the nests --
everything well labelled --
