(4) June 26 spent the day on the range in the usual Target practice. We are becoming fairly accurate with our fire but also are able to set the grass burning at least once a day. Not able to do much in the afternoon since there are guns to clean and washing to do. June 27 same routine on the target range except for the taking up of the shooting of the Stokes mortars. Had a pretty fair entertainment at the club in the evening. June 28 served my first A. P. Only today which of course had to fall on a Saturday. However the work is not bad. I don't want to state rules I have to however. 29 out of the camp went to Green River gorge near Mt Rainier but
