Spent the evening at the club room playing cards. June 25 Went to the range this morning. Didn't have a chance to fire myself. Got afternoon off as per schedule and went out into the woods to blow eggs. Managed very well. Found a place in a wild patch of timber and undergrowth and built a lab of bark and rotten logs. I have a cup with my center (ground) that I used for basin. With a little saving I blew all 19 eggs with a pint and 2 quarts. The Waxwings were fairly well incubated but some more than others. The finches were also fairly well incubated, but the Thrush and Creepers were as fresh as butter. Spent the whole afternoon in my
