(1) June 24 Went thru with regular drill schedule. Weather seems to never be able to clear. It doesn't rain but clouds up and clears off and on. This week we are shooting on the range. In the afternoon went and looked over the bluebirds nest and found the eggs ripped. It was a big set but was too hard set to manage with. Also went to the horned lark nest -- which was destroyed. I don't know what could have happened all was gone and nest ruined up. Both went thru woods and scared up a block of young grouse and hen. Two flying birds the size of a soda spigot flew up above the 1st grass. Two more flushed and began looking for the fourth but could not see her. I started the chicka call and up she
