in can. Bowley has
collected a set from this
can - in the tin can
keep for several years.
Bowley seems to have
things pretty well planned
out, he knows every pair
of birds in this wood.
First three new species.
I felt well satisfied and
so we returned about
4.30. I found that my
unknown Sparrow was
the Oregon Versin Sparrow.
Its song is quite different
from that of Western
tester. Altho now I
know the relation, I can
see the similarity. The
birds seem very common
here and altho the season
is advanced I expect to
find several things. I
sent the nests off by
parcel post and will have
to manage the eggs
in camp. Bowley threatened
me with a fork and kitchen
scrubs to be nice
fellow. I shall come in
next week and if possible.
I did not collect the Bluebird.
They are the same as home
