in can. Bowley has collected a set from this can - in the tin can keep for several years. Bowley seems to have things pretty well planned out, he knows every pair of birds in this wood. First three new species. I felt well satisfied and so we returned about 4.30. I found that my unknown Sparrow was the Oregon Versin Sparrow. Its song is quite different from that of Western tester. Altho now I know the relation, I can see the similarity. The birds seem very common here and altho the season is advanced I expect to find several things. I sent the nests off by parcel post and will have to manage the eggs in camp. Bowley threatened me with a fork and kitchen scrubs to be nice fellow. I shall come in next week and if possible. I did not collect the Bluebird. They are the same as home
