This morning it was clear and the mountain looked like a great cloud spring up in the sky, it spends to rise half way to the top of the sky! It looks unnatural - like some artificial painting - if it is all too steep. The sides are very steep and one shaped (sketches I neglected to write - K.P. affected without English) Sparrow and a possible evening Grackle. Plainly heard the Grackle notes! but a young purple finch might have fooled me.
