Indb: advanced Coll. by Aldin T Miller Nest in alder tree in grove in Rem. riverbottom, 25 ft up revised old nest, outer part sticks lined with inner bark chiefly. Cup about 6 inches deep 8-10" across whole nest 27 inches across Bird did not leave till stick was thrown at nest. n. Corvus American h. D. Apr. 29 1922 Set m. 28/3 C.O.U. No. 458 Local. El Monte L.A. Co. Calif. Indb: fresh complete Coll by Aldin T Miller and Nest as set 25/2 458 probably Rem. a repeat! Bird did not flush until tree was climbed. n. Nest typical few local sticks. Bird sat close and made no noise until nest was touched. Nest in oak grove of Santa Fe Hill
