in Berkeley. The boat
left again at five P.M.
and we go by Monterey by dusk. The
wind was blowing
hard thru the gate but
the sea was calm
outside. I saw quite
a flock of some sort
of seagulls about sundown
that flew ahead of the
boat and then dive
rapidly.
Aug 10 Arrived in port
at 10 A.M. in good
order. Home in the
afternoon
