"I was interested to see my first 'yellow-dog' Dingo from Australia. I believe the first picked up a cur from the street and caged him. Another attraction was a pair of very tame collared dogs, which we petted and fed carrot leaves. The were most sociable and came up along the fence to be scratched. They were quite clean and particular in their manners. They really seemed as much like geese as little pigs with their tiny feet and clean habits. For a grunt the had a low comfortable sounding chuckle which they gave continually. Among other things of interest were a pair of Alaskan Brown Bear, two a pair of Polar Bear (in a swimming pool) a young calf Buffalo and a very lively Badger. The
