spin collector in Wash.
Recently he has had an
exhibit of birds pin a
sportsmans show therein
spinning several interesting
Washington takes - Electrolyte
seal and the like.
Brown also has a
fairly extensive representation
of the large waterfowls.
We returned to Tacoma
on the 10 o'clock boat.
The gulls on the Sound
now seem to be California
evidently from the
interior breeding grounds.
Bowles says the Glayson
wings don't come in from
the nesting Islands.
July
26. Went out to the
Point Defiance park
outside of town. The
woods were very much
the same as elsewhere
if anything quieter, at
present the summer
clump seems to bear
all bird activity.
I had hoped to see
some of the Guillemots
at the park along the
water front but did not.
