smaller than a pocket
mouse and looked
like a mole with
sparkle beady eyes.
The fur was pale like
and the about long
and [illegible] constantly
moving.
Lath we stared up
a small rabbit size
of a cottontail but of
brick red - brown color.
I noticed no white in
the tail.
In the afternoon
went in town & look
over the things on the
Spanaway Prairie.
I found the nighttown
gone and no bird.
Could be plucked from
the vicinity of the
hollow or the rocky road
where the girl was
plucked before.
Nothing came of the
horned lark or Savannah?
next.
I guess the season is
about over.
The wind was blowing
and the rain seemed
till to be in the air.
