The sun came out along with a few mosquitoes, and the mountain glowed bright in the white light.
I never saw a better effect, with the silver light on the forests - the mountain and the meadow with the brook.
We turned in early since we were late rise and go hiking at 3.30 AM. We slept soundly or so stood matters, except for one interruption by a tame elk which wandered around the camp and munched on the tent rope.
