Clear, warm, 0630 - 1200. breezy. Canoeing
from the fishcamp up to the runs, saw or heard.
Red-eyed Vireo (50) Parula Warbler (40)
Yellow-billed Cuckoo (2) Summer Tanager (3)
Yellow-throated Vireo (2-5) Limpkin (1)
Prothonotary Warbler (6, including pair building nest
one of [illegible] posts from old cattle tram)
Cardinal (2 nests in trees overhanging river, 4-5'
high. One nest with broken eggshells, another with
4 warm eggs)
7-19 May FLORIDA, Highlands Co., Archbold Biological Station
Arrived with Linda Weinland to help Glen with
Jay census. Debbie Moskvits, Lisa Klein also there.
Most notable thing seen was a fledgling Parula Warbler
being fed by a male in the [illegible] vicinity of the
garage and Cabin 6. First nesting record of Parulas
for ABS. 3 Swallow-tailed Kites at N. boundary
of station (both 19 May).
