Surprise surprise, the two School Hill ♀ basics, ♀523 h/Red-DBlue and ~~♀524 Dgreen-BBrk(N)/white In the granary, acting like they own the place. Nobody chasing. (???), 1730, Both gone. 1745, Watas, including scratchy ♀531. Not coming to granary, though. Giving up 1800. 21 April chucked holes here, no go. 26 April 29 April Arriving at 1300, I flush a bird out of one of the holes in the Black Oak. Couldn't see which hole, since I approached from the wrong side. 2 May Starting watch from hide 1500. 1630, Boring as hell. 2 birds (at least here), nobody in holes, heard scratchy voice of ♀531, though. 5 May 1520, a ♀ in the hole as I start watch. He's looking out of the hole that faces straight down in the higher live limb of the Black Oak nest tree. They surely have a nest! 29 May Up here to check on these guys at 1210. Nest still active! 1310 ♀531 Brn-or/m flycatches (F), feeds babies. DBl-LPrk/crk-DBlue her 25 June A walk by, J 593 1 Dec Start from hide at 1030. A good # of acorns stored here, mostly Black Oak. 1230, Adult dominance! ♂530 pecks hard at head of ♂592 at granary both working at same acorn. I notice that ♂530 Brn-or/BPto has heavy tail spotting. Brn-or/Brn/or yellow-Blue/yellow-Lblue Unusual. ♀531 Brn-or/m and ♂592 here. No sign (really) of anyone else, End 1300
