Munne Melanerpes formicivorus School Hill Hastings Reservation (6 April) he is followed by ♂402, 0820, NB♀ chased by both ♀260 and ♂86. 0830, ♀260 flies 100 m up the hill, not followed by ♂♂. End 0840. 10 April Start watch 0710. a ♀(260?) in granary as I arrive. Coopers Hawk calling below field. 0730. ♀523 back, cuts acorn (♀). 0735, core 3 together in granary, ♂86 flies → 75 m up hill, not followed. 0750, NB♀ intruder chased by ♀260, ♀523. ♂♂ followed over, but did nothing or little. 0800, ♂402 flies 50m up hill, not following. → again at 0805, a NB♀, chased by ♀260 and ♀523 ♀260 very friendly to ♂♂, open-wing wakas, raised tail, looking like she's ready! ♀524 was here briefly earlier, at the N. end of the exclosure, but I don't see her anymore. 0810, a NB ♂ intruder, I believe chased by ♂86. ♀523 seems to have disappeared by 0830 (Back to Plaqua?) to adjacent grove, 0835 ♀260 flies, followed by ♂86, then ♂402. 0840, ♀ intruder back above exclosure. Chased mildly by 402, ♂86, strongly by ♀260. End 0850. Checked hole, zilch. 14 April Start watch 0840. Cooper's Hawk SW of field. Nobody in granary as I arrive. I checked the hole, no eggs yet. 0915, Nothing much happening. Going to look around. Up at School Hill B, ♂402 ♀524 and another ♀. Over to SH West at 0930. 1040 Holy shit, ~~3 birds here! One is definitely ♀~~ 15 April Start 1815. Nothings up, Roosting (one bird in, another outside looking 16 April Start watch 1615. Nothing in nest hole. 2 birds in granary as I arrived ♂86, ♀260, ♂402 all here
