31 March Start watch 1530, 1540 ♀265 DBlue/Yell-LBlue shows up,
eats acorn (F). She is alone, unattended by ♂♂. No
"pack" behavior yet. 1550, ♂68 DBlue/DBLue also eats
acorn (F). ♂184 white-BLK/BLK-white also shows. Weather
rotten & deteriorating (cloudy, breezy, everybody sitting
tight. ♂184 also eats acorn (F). 1605, everybody huddling
on lee side of granary (Valley Oak). 1615, ♂♂ fly off
♀ stays put. No packing yet 1645, ♀ still hasn't
moved, ♂♂ have moved away and back a couple times
7 April Start 0925, 3 birds in granary as I arrive, all flush.
moments later, ♂68 DBlue/DBLue returns, the leaves. 0955,

& ♂68 arrive together, she
enters last year's nest hole, goes down! 1000, ♂184 at
hole, leaves, ♀265 leaves, ♂68 arrives, goes down!
(see drawing on back), 1012, ♂68 leaves, ♂184 looks
in, flies off, (after ♂68 had left). 1014, ♂184 goes
down [I think!] (for sure!). Both ♀265 + ♂68
eat acorns while ♂184 down (F)(F). 1032, ♂184 comes
out, sits outside nest 1038 back in, 1043 out. 1047,
→ ♀265 enters, down. 1050, ♂184 chases Dove, goes to
→ nest hole. 1053, ♂68 flies to nest, ♂184 chatters
then moves up and away. ♂68 now alone, 1055,
♂68 flies off. 1101, ♂68 cubs briefly, leave, ♀265 still
there, 1103, ♂184 lands briefly, ♀265 leaves. 1113
→ ♀265 flies well off, followed 1st by ♂184 then ♂68.
End 1120, Back at 1500, nest empty! False alarm,
I perped in and saw nothing
