Melanerpes formicivorus

(5Dec) made in two trips. 26 sec. 28 sec total for two. Sar
493 store a nice BO acorn. 1245, 435 is conspicuously
absent. Everyone else (497, 492, 493, 622, 63)
seen repeatedly as well. Could she have been the bird walter
found the remains of a few weeks ago? All the are
really working stores, eating acorns, etc, but 623 almost entirely
flycatching. Seems to be quite a few bugs around despite coolness.
Rain perhaps initiated a bug emergence (termites, perhaps?)
End- 1315, no sign of 435.
