Also ♂492 M/Blk. 1505 all 3 ♂♂ harrit mob a ground squirrel in the granary. Birds moving acorns around a lot, and it looks like they may be harvesting the last of the live oak acorns from trees along Big Creek. The bad news is, where is ♂298? Seems 7ike I should have seen him. 1545 end. Copulating kestrels here. 30 March Swinging by here 1015, ♀435 chasing NB♀ intruder → (a data point!) ♂297 also here. Coopers Hawk calling from Haystack area. ♂297 chases rathatch from granary. → Another data point! 1040, ♂297 chases Downy Woodpecker from granary! End 1045. 1110, from 1800, I saw ♂297 chase Downy's from granary twice more, yet two more data points! 21 April A check of the holes here produces nothing. 25 June 0930 New nest on side of School Hill 4 babies, one small egg. 988 cm high (9.88 meters) angle -20° 30 June Roosting, ♂297 alone! 3 July Roosting, the birds slipped in quickly, but I think it was ♂297 23 Aug Start watch 1520.
