1980 R.L. Munne Journal Hastings Reservation 20 June A good day, with good juvenile watches at Road 1 and 1800. Roosting at Buckeye. Nest check at Plague. Ian Tate arrives late, 21 June An OK day, watching at Finch, measuring Ladies at School Hill, watching 1800, Roosting Road 3, Summer solstice party and slide show in the cabin. 22 June Mediocre watches at Road 1 & 1800, a Plague nest check, non-roosting at Buckeye, wrote a lot of letters today. 23 June Watched the morning on Haystack Hill & 1800. Banded x measured at School Hill. Blown roosting Buckeye 24 June Finch & Road 1 in the morning, Plague weighing day, Gazebo in the afternoon, Roosting at Plague. Dessert at Red House, plus Ruth & Didi. 25 June Nest at 1800, Road 1, School Hill nest check, 1800, Roosting at Buckeye 26 June Nest check at Plague, then Berkeley! 27 June Berkeley, then return for dinner at Toots Lagoon, the "Court of Monte Cristo" at the O Village Library. 28 June Grant fooling around all day. Hot! 29 June Interesting, brooding sort of day. Cloudy, even a few drops of rain in the morning. I finally watched successfully at Hay-Blom, then we checked the nest at Road 3, then worked on the grant proposal. Dessert at Red House. 30 June More interesting weather, cloudy, cool, with measurable rain in the morning. I watched at Cow Hay & 1800, elected Plague and the Cooper's Hank nest (young fledging), slept out complete nest watches
