Tried to watch roosting, too, but was unable to tell which bird roosted. (very dark, @ 2000 hrs). 6 Sept Another 3-hour nest watch, this one in the afternoon. Details on back. Again up here for roosting, this time with success. I put the hide closer to the nest, and I was convinced that ♂86 Roosted. I never really saw any bands, but his Mauve/Mauve combo is not what you would call distinctive. I feel that there was enough light to see ♂402 Yellow band if he had roosted. Furthermore, the face pattern suggested ♂86. 7 Sept Another AM nest watch.
