in AW, if true, should help nestlings,
juv, 1st year birds more because they might
eventually move with them. Dom shouldn't
show this bias. Kin sel, helpers should
help both sexes equally. Alt. hypothesis that
intermale competition balances out
Scrub Jays, you might expect helpers to
preferentially help younger , since they will stay
longer, enlarge territory, etc. New groups should
want more (both AW + SJ) as offspring
perhaps?
