(1 Sept) prominent in cloacal area. 0719: All three birds perched in upper branches of Valley Oak granary: Orioles chattering nearby.
0730: ♀86 flies off; ♀260 + ♂402 together; 0731: 86 returns, waku) ♂402 flies off, ♂86 3m from ♀260. ♀260 looks exhausted: 0745,
* ♀260 flies to Blue oaks at Nend of Field, immediately followed by ♂402, wakuing. ♂86 follows 20 sec. later.
* 0754: Check nest: Three eggs!! ♀260 laid egg in7seconds! laying time was 0716
2 Sept draw: 0655; 3 birds together in Valley Oak in woods at west edge of field: 0719 ♂402 + ♂86 chase scrub Jays, return.
♀260 above 2♂⏤. 0722: ♀260 flies down hill to Nend of field, followed first by ♂402, then ♂86. 0726: All 3 return to Valley Oak: Lost track: 0743, 3 birds in Valley Oak by path at Nend of field (in woods): 0744, ♀260 flies west down hill, followed first by ♂86, then ♂402.
* 0830: 3 Birds at School Hill B, Strangers: Unbanded ♀, unbanded Juvenile, flies a banded ⏤. I read left leg as L Blue (?)/Metal
0850: School Hill birds appear, chase "B" intruders: Busy Scrub Jay: Red/Metal/LBlue/LBlue (or mauve/mauve) (woolfenden style)
0856: A# 3 SH birds in B granary: 0858; ♀260 flies west, ♂86 follows at 0900 (♂+♀ waku), then 15 sec later ♂402 follows (more wakes). 0929: ♀260 flies to granary at SH B, followed by both ⏤⏤, ♂402 first! 0932, ♀260 flies off, ♂86 follows first, then ♂402.
1055: ♀260 looking out of nest hole. ♂402 had been outside hole for about 5 min, before flying off at 1055.
