It also saw a ♂ beg from #58. Could only see that bands were very dark, probably (?) ♂ 467 D Green/LG-DG? ♂#58 + ♂ #258 BP-W/M sapsucking in blue oak behind sycamore west of gate sycamore end 1750 25 Feb Start watch 0730. Four birds seen, unbanded ♂, unbanded ♀, ♂ #58 L Green/L Green, Metal/L Green, and ♂258 BPink-white/Orange, B Pink-White/Metal. Activity was concentrated in sap oak behind sycamore granary west of the gate sycamore. I also saw what I interpret to be submissive behavior, begging-like "Mickey-Mouse" calls in the presence of another bird. The results were thus dom ♂ 58 ♀ 574 submissive ♂238 ♂521 ♂58 - didn't see it 5 3 8 ♀574 no see - didn't see it 1 1 ♂238 sibs? unbande outside? see no see - didn't see it 0 ⊙521 no see - 0 Sort of interesting results. I'll have to check group history, and see what MacRoberts says about Mickey Mouse call. Interesting that ♂521 gave cull when ♀574 landed in sap tree. Never heard ♂58 call, although he was frequently intree with ♂238, and to a lesser extent ♂521
