Tamalpais, Marin Co., California Birding around Marin Co., saw my first White-winged Scoter (S. of Stinson Beach and Bolinas Lagoon) and 4 Black Oystercatchers at Agate Beach. Additional birds were Western Grebe (many at Stinson Beach, a few in B.L.), Horned Grebe (10, B.L.), Double-crested Cormorant (50, B.L.), Mallard (5, B.L.), Pintail (very abundant in B.L., many thousand), American Wigeon (several hundred), N.
