Kontos, Jean 2013 Journal Nelson Jesusalino, Dept. Santa Rosa, Argentina (cont.) June 15 ... meeting everyone at the museum. Same team as before, except Andrea & Ericka switched. Set to Finca Linda Vista around 13:30 and set up camp above soccer field next to geothermal area. Rained hard for ~90 min. I went out after rain to check out a lagoon the finca owner told us about. After dinner, we walked to a wet spot on the edge of the geothermal area at 20:45 and tried to find Leptodactylus fragilis that were calling in the grass (failed). Julio got a juvenile Rana. Walked down to the lagoons. I saw either a Rana or Bufo in the small one; the larger swampy area was completely impenetrable. Heard no frogs calling in either. On the road track, Carlos got another juvenile Rana & I got an Agalychnis miodetii. Walked out to the main road, where Carlos & Jacobo got 3 more Rana. After that, went to search uphill in the forest but ended up helping the ornithologists, who were overwhelmed w/ birds in their nets. Started to rain just as we got down, ...
