Color in life - SMR1833 Pseudorycea sp. 6/19/12
Head medium brown w/ a few white spots; paratoid region orange-brown.
Dorsum has medium brown background w/ a wide orange-brown band down midline; band has some dark brown flecks w/in it. Band continues into tail, covers dorsal side of tail; dark brown spots w/in band more numerous + larger than on dorsum. Sides of head light brown w/ cream mottling below line of jaw. Iris golden. Sides of body w/ dark brown background color. Indistinct line of silvery-cream flecks down lateral midline. Sides of tail medium brown w/ a few cream spots. Gular region has light gray background mottled w/ lichen-like cream blotches; a couple of blotches just past extend to gular fold. Menter medium grey, immaculate. Ventral surface of tail light brown w/ a few cream spots. Upper surface of limbs medium brown w/ orange speckles, lower surface of limbs gray-brown w/ cream spots. Underside of feet light grey; toe tips reddish.
