Coral. They got down around 01:10; I took my time and arrived at 01:30. About 50m from the field station, I found a large female Oedipina elongata on a Heliconia leaf about 70cm off the ground. It had a white spot on its head and white dots on the drum; very pretty. Was surprised to see it climbing - I think of them as semi-fossorial. We all talked until about 02:45, then we went out and searched along paths near the field station for ~30min more. Girls got an Andria Rodriguezii. Went to bed just before 3:00. Jed had searched near the field station earlier, after dinner, but found only a Bufo campbelli and a Aplemorphaus.

Woke up around 08:30, exhausted from night before. Spent morning + afternoon photographing + pepping specimens and organizing / identifying previously collected specimens. Worked until dark, ate dinner, and left just ahead of the others. Shortly up the path, I saw what I first thought was a Peters flavus sitting ~9m off the ground in a tree growing at a ~60° angle out of the ground. As I approached, I could see that it was actually a small spotted cat with a relatively long tail - a margay, I think. It ran down the slanted tree trunk and disappeared into the bushes (GPS: 15.40394N, 88.69347W [±10m], 653m elev). First margay live ever seen! Orlando caught up with me and also got a look at it. Ricardo missed it but found an Andria capita at the same spot. Carlos found an Amastrium wolforum just up the trail, and then a juvenile Gryphophorus cristatus. Ricardo got a beautiful Oxybelis servus 1m off the ground along the path - incredible how it stays still and
