Haiti, Jan 2010 Color description - SMR491 Batroglossus sp. "Nicta Hemissa" Dorsum nearly uniform orangish-brown w/ scattered darker brown specks. Top of head slightly darker brown, ending in a triangle behind eyes quite crisp edge. Throat pale brown. Habital surfaces - side of head to insertion of forelimb - pale brown w/ tiny white spots. Top of tail same as dorsum. Top of legs same as sides of body (see below). Sides of body + tail pale brown with tiny white flecks scattered throughout. Volar surface pale w/ orangish brown mottling. Ventral surface pale brown w/ fine white mottling. Ventral surface of tail pale brown w/ tiny white + darker brown specks throughout. Underside of limbs same as venter. Underside of feet pale brown.
