Ronto, Dean 2008 Journal Aug. 16 Cords San Felipe, La Cumbre de Chispas; Oaxaca, Mexico We woke up fairly early today and searched in logs in excellent pine forest above the cabins from 08:00- almost 10:00. Juan Carlos searched for an additional 30 minutes after we stopped. I found an adult Thorius (marisovalis?) under a small log, as well as 2 adult and 2 juvenile Geogaster. Abby and Juan Carlos caught 2 more Geogaster, which we released. There were tons of good logs and conditions seemed excellent, but we saw no Pseudorynchus at all. We had to leave and drive back to Mexico City since my flight leaves early on the 17th, so we didn't get to search as long as I would have liked.
