Aug. 15 Cht looks a little like B. flavicomans but doesn't have yellow legs and seems to have a different head shape. This is the B. sp. "Chicalal" that Wake + Lynch found in the 70s. We all searched in leaf litter for about 30 more minutes but found nothing more. Jed and cl drove on to Guatemala City by the coast road in a heavy rain, arriving very late. Finca El Volcan, Depto. Alta Verapaz, Guatemala Aug. 17 Today Jed, Carlos, Justino and cl drive to Finca El Volcan by way ofactic, Jucuron and Senzhe. The road from Jactic to Jucuron was bad, but it was fine the rest of the way. We got to the finca at dusk, ate dinner and searched around the main house from 20:30-21:05. cl found an almatodes anchosa on a cardamon plant.
