Rosito, Sean 2007 Journal Volcan Chicalal, Depto. Quetzaltenango, Guatemala (cont.) Aug. 15 Cht looks a little like B. flavicomans but doesn't have yellow legs and seems to have a different head shape. This is the B. sp. "Chicalal" that Wake + Lynch found in the 70s. We all searched in leaf litter for about 30 more minutes but found nothing more. Jed and cl drove on to Guatemala City by the coast road in a heavy rain, arriving very late. Finca El Volcan, Depto. Alta Verapaz, Guatemala Aug. 17 Today Jed, Carlos, Justino and cl drive to Finca El Volcan by way ofactic, Jucuron and Senzhe. The road from Jactic to Jucuron was bad, but it was fine the rest of the way. We got to the finca at dusk, ate dinner and searched around the main house from 20:30-21:05. cl found an almatodes anchosa on a cardamon plant. Carlos got 2 B. rufescens, an Agalychnis miodeti and a Bolitoglossa odonnelli, all near the house. Justino got a B. rufescens, and Jed got an A. [illegible]. It was rather dry, so not many animals were out. clt rained a lot later at night. Finca El Volcan, Depto. Alta Verapaz, Guatemala Aug. 18 We spent the morning searching in bananos at 2 sites around the finca. We searched for ~45 min and found 3 B. rufescens at the first site [illegible] on the footpath from the finca to a nearby community. We then went to the road that branches at the entrance to the finca and searched in bananos (mostly the green, not-so-good kind) for another 30-45min and we
