Smith Lake Roadless Wilderness, El Dorado NF.
Aug. 10 ... down from big snow patches, which had plenty of water. I waited for the sun to set from 20:35-20:40 and then started searching with my headlamp. I found a subadult out at 20:45, which I swabbed (38. [illegible] 85°71'N, 120.18571°W [WG584, 5m acc], 2594m elev.). I found 3 more subadults, 2 adults and 2 juveniles in seeps in the area and swabbed all but the juveniles.

The subadults were all quite big and may have been small adult females. I stopped searching at 22:05, having covered most of the wet seep areas. The day was fairly warm and sunny and the night was clear and cool.
