D. gracilisus and 1 C. constructor on the slope. cl walked down to a wet grassy area with small ponds near the road and caught a C. constructor and a J. elegans. We next drove back along the W side of Eagle Lake on Al and found a dead C. constructor on the road ~1 m. W of Bucks Bay at B:25 (JAM15). We drove to Jallatin Beach on the S shore of Eagle Lake and searched for 30 min between the parking lot, Jallatin Rd and the creek (JAM16: 40.55468°N, 120.76374°W [WGS84, 8 m acc.], 1572m elev.). We caught 3 D. gracilisus but saw little else; it was quite hot by this point. We drove back to camp and Jim and Craig had to drive back to Berkeley. Chad and cl prepared the DOR snakes as well as Shamaphis and B. leucos that Ching Conway brought us from Merrill Creek.
