26 June cont'd Badger Tulare Co.
Left Lone Pine this morning
and came back around the
southern tip of the Sierra's -
over WalkerPass again. Kern
Co. is so interesting in
how dry the areas are
like around Lake Isabella
yet the riparian corridors
that go along the rivers -
like the Kern are lush and
very wide - I'm sure extremely
important for biogeographic
patterns. Once in Bakersfield
we headed North on the 99
after coming down the 178
along the raging Kern River.
