Pair flew over Drum area - 12:15 P.M. - attacked and chased by Ruddy Turnstone. 1 chased by Pomarine over [illegible] drum area and immediately N. 8 different (?) birds seen. 16 June 2 birds seen (each alone). 4 July Flock of ca. 17 in Central Marsh. 2 collected (Maclean 257, Tenaga). 6 July Scattered small groups - (2 to 5) in central marsh. Total of ca. 15 observed. 1 first year bird collected. 7 July Central Marsh over-run! Total of ca. 40 seen - in groups of 3 to 10. 8 July Groups of 3 and 2 flew over beach ridge, flying West. Others seen in Central Marsh. 10 July Flock of at least 60 in central marsh.
