Madison 1967 P. Dominica [16 July] Next Don and I drove out to the nest with 3 eggs new traplines III A - III B. Tried hardware cloth strips with monofilament loops. The birds went over them, but did not get catched. Next staked down 3 corners of a mist net over the nest, waited for the bird to sit, then through the net over the nest. Success - catched a bird - probably the α7. Fed it and prepared it for the trip to Fairbanks. A flock is still in the area between AACS and the Beach Ridge crossing. 17 July
