Maclean 1964 T subruficollis on W. side of Gasoline Ridge, ca. 250 yds. N. of Neko of trapline 1 - moving N.. About '1/2 mile N. of nest cup hatches 16 July - may be same, maybe not. [L. brillian'] Another bird on W. side of ridge, ca. 150 yds. S. of above gave violent distraction display, but would not go back to nest. Stood preening on polygon for '1/2 hr., without any sign of broodiness, etc. May have been off hatching nest. Returned - 2:00 A.M. to look for nest- resign of bird, nest, chicks, or rattlin' May have completed hatching of nest, or may have made ass of observers! 31 July 1 adult with 3 jws. on Dibble's P lot, stake 12 . jws. on day S slope of ridge - licter-willow covered. 1 juv. collected (4 317) - 35.6 grams. Almost ready to fly. Wonders where he heck they've been! 3 August Diligent search of interior produced no birds. 10 August 3 birds feeding in grass near [CPRPTL] Levellyn's Wire. [illegible] They never has a chance. #328, 329, 330. All immatures- 2 more advanced than the other. 12 August 3 birds on very dry (14A 35) slope
